Professor Andy Pardoe appointed Interim Chief AI Officer at INSTANDA

NEW YORK August 13, 2024 – INSTANDA, the global leader of no-code insurance platform technology, has appointed technology and financial services industry veteran and author Professor Andy Pardoe to the position of interim Chief AI Officer.

As INSTANDA’s first Chief AI Officer, Pardoe will work directly with Co-Founder and CEO Tim Hardcastle to spearhead defining INSTANDA’s future AI strategy, identifying strategic opportunities to enhance the client experience through data driven insights and intelligent automation. INSTANDA created this position in response to the company’s rapid growth and the increasing demand across the industry in understanding and integrating AI to streamline insurance processes.

In parallel, Pardoe will work with others across INSTANDA to identify new ways AI can be applied to streamline INSTANDA’s own workflows and enhance productivity — freeing up even more time for colleagues to collaborate with clients on new products and innovations.

With more than 30 years of experience in artificial intelligence, Andy has spent his career advising senior officials on scaling their adoption of AI technology to deliver business benefit. In his tenure, Pardoe has served industries including financial services, government, retail and public services; having recently completed projects for the Royal Air Force and the NHS.

Pardoe holds multiple degrees from the University of Warwick, including a bachelor’s in computer systems engineering, a Ph.D in artificial intelligence and an MBA in business transformation. He has held progressively senior technology positions with organizations that include Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Accenture as well as serving on several advisory boards where he focused on technology trends and digital transformation.

He is the author of several books on AI, including Confident AI, and he is a professor of applied AI for business transformation with the University of Warwick.
