INSTANDA has been purposefully designed to be no code. That means changes to the core code are only made by the INSTANDA team but this code enables clients globally to configure their own unique combination of product attributes, distribution models etc. All our global clients benefit from platform enhancements delivered through code changes that INSTANDA make directly, and clients consume those as part of the monthly license fee. All platform enhancement are generic and released with opt-in controls, enabling any client to adopt new functionality applicable to their use cases.

INSTANDA is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) insurance platform hosted on the Azure Public Cloud, designed to serve as a flexible and powerful Insurance Policy Administration System (PAS). The platform enables full insurance product creation, quote-and-bind capabilities across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C channels, and supports policy administration, customer and broker self-service, and payment integrations. With its no-code framework, clients can design user journeys, customize interfaces using rich text editors or direct HTML manipulation, and fine-tune site design with CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for total control. INSTANDA is mobile-friendly by default, ensuring responsive layouts optimized for all devices. The platform's features extend to FNOL claims administration, configurable question sets, rating engines, document generation, and referral underwriting. This comprehensive, cloud-based solution empowers insurers to adapt quickly to market demands while delivering a seamless user experience.

Delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, the platform includes an all-encompassing license fee that covers deployment, hosting on Microsoft Azure, maintenance, and ongoing support. With tools to create products, portals, and user profiles across multiple regions, INSTANDA adapts seamlessly to your business demands. INSTANDA provides easy-to-follow technical training to help clients quickly become confident and competent no-code platform configurators. The Foundation Training covers the core configuration functionality, with key areas including creating questions and calculations (ratings), user and site management, documents and email communications, data reporting and more. Training is self-paced and accessed via our digital learning platform (INSTANDA Learning). The training is supported by detailed user manuals in the INSTANDA Knowledge Base, which also provides ongoing support for configurators. At the end of the training clients will earn Foundation certification by completing and passing the Foundation assessment. Once configurators have gained their Foundation certification, they can then move onto the Advanced training to gain a deeper understanding of INSTANDA including some of the more advanced functionality. We require a minimum of two team members to be trained as “superusers,” these are experts who can lead configuration efforts internally.

As a leading insurance PAS with clients all over the world, INSTANDA operates on an agile release cycle, regularly introducing new features, functionality, and updates to respond quickly to client demands. Clients can request features through INSTANDA’s service management tool, where requests are reviewed against the existing roadmap. Monthly client review meetings offer opportunities to discuss these requests with dedicated account managers. Minor updates are included in the monthly cycle, while major strategic releases occur every six months. Rigorous Unit, Integration, and Regression testing ensure quality across all updates. Clients can also opt for a Preview Environment to test new features before release.
