INSTANDA was born out of many years of hands-on experience of working within the sector and with insurance software providers, at CIO level within major insurance businesses.
Having been witness to the challenges of meeting short-term market opportunities and demands whilst constrained by cumbersome IT and development process lifecycles, we decided to do something about it! The result was a self-service product delivery model aimed at putting control back into the hands of the business; something that could address repeating problem patterns as well as future retail demands. And crucially, a product that was driven by the needs and requirements of real insurance users.
In our view, the future of insurance technology will be that of a Cloud-based ecosystem consisting of a multitude of smaller service systems which integrate together into a full function eco-system and can be developed, deployed and scaled independently, all real-time connected with each other and from which you can gather not just all the data needed but crucially servicing capability needed to respond in a dynamic digital environment. A perfect environment for INSTANDA to deliver value.
Today we are a dynamic team of diverse, experienced practitioners and subject matter experts. Our developers and designers work alongside senior consultants to deliver large-scale technical projects for major insurance providers.
This allows us to continuously gain feedback from the market on the product performance, alternative delivery models and current market challenges, to ensure INSTANDA’s functionality continues to add real value to client businesses — confirming our position as trusted insurance software provider.
INSTANDA is a lifetime member of the Microsoft Accelerator’s global Alumni Program, having graduated from the Accelerator’s 5th Cohort in London.
The Accelerator Program is a global initiative empowering entrepreneurs on their journey to build game-changing companies. The criteria for entry are simple: businesses need to have a working product or service which uses Cloud-based technologies, has customer traction, and is fundamentally disrupting an industry.
Our journey with Microsoft saw us as the only InsurTech finalist on the Program. The next 4-6 months gave INSTANDA exclusive access to some of the best technical and business minds that exist within Microsoft — stress-testing INSTANDA’s architecture, security and business model to the extreme.
After being voted as one of the top 3 businesses on the Program by an audience of investors and Microsoft executives, we continue to leverage our strategic partnership with Microsoft as part of the the Alumni Program: a community of over 800 entrepreneurs and innovators. We benefit from the ongoing support from technical experts with the sole purpose of delivering leading-edge technology to our clients.
